About me

Since my Data Science studies I have had a special interest in the technology behind data platforms, data processing, and the cloud. Currently I am working as a DevOps Engineer at a Dutch cloud provider, where I hope to contribute to a sovereign Dutch (and with that, European) cloud and data platform. Next to that I am a big fan of open source tools and the freedom and flexibility they offer. I enjoy thinking out of the box and beyond the standards to achieve a more effective solution.

In my spare time I enjoy playing the occasional video game, watching (dumb) videos on Youtube, and spend time on hobby projects. I also like going out into the city for a nice coffee, a bite, and a drink. If the weather allows for it, you may also find me biking in the beautiful area around Utrecht. :)
